Dr. Joel Shebowich, MD
Dr. Shebowich was raised in Michigan, where he attended Wayne State University in Detroit for his undergraduate degree and medical school. He went on to complete an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He has been practicing in Colorado since 1990. Dr. Shebowich is enthusiastic about all aspects of Internal Medicine, but especially concentrates on disease prevention and health management. In his free time, he enjoys playing baseball, bicycling, snowboarding and woodworking. He also loves spending time with his wonderful family,
Dr. Liberty Amador, MD
Dr. Amador is a native of southern California and attended college at the University of California at Los Angeles. She earned her medical degree from Creighton University, then completed a residency program in Family Medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She moved to Colorado in 2000 and joined Smoky Hill Family Medicine at its inception in 2002. Dr. Amador concentrates on out-patient procedures, is passionate about women's health issues and enjoys interacting with patients of all ages. She loves traveling and skiing with her husband and two children.
Jennifer Pearson, PA-C
Jennifer Pearson was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, where she grew up loving sports and outdoor activities including skiing, cycling and hiking. She attended The University of Kansas and received a BA in Psychology and completed pre-requisite courses for a Physician Assistant Program. After college she enjoyed 3 years of living in Steamboat, Colorado working in a Physical Therapy Clinic and took advantage of all the mountain had to offer. In 2001 she graduated with a Masters degree from the Yale University Physician Assistant Program where she was awarded a National Health Service Corps Scholarship. This scholarship took her to work in an underserved community in Worcester Massachusetts for 3 years. During this time she was married and living in Boston where she and her husband had 2 children. In 2008 they returned to Denver to be close to family and friends. Jennifer worked in Urgent Care in Denver for 3 years and came to Smoky Hill Family Medicine in 2013. Her personal interests include skiing, cycling, outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
